AVID Elective Certification
and
Schoolwide Recognition
Instruments Pilot

AVID created the Coaching and Certification Instrument (CCI) nearly a decade ago, and it’s time to update the instrument so that it captures what we’ve learned from our partners and our research on AVID implementation and impact. This update will include two parts: one for the AVID Elective and one for Schoolwide Recognition.

In January 2025, we are offering our middle and high school partners an exciting opportunity to pilot the newly revised AVID Elective Certification Instrument. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the new Schoolwide Recognition Instrument, designed for schools who wish to continue their journey toward a schoolwide implementation of AVID.  The AVID Elective Certification Coaching Tool and the AVID Schoolwide Recognition Coaching Tool are not a part of this pilot.

As a pilot participant, you'll get a sneak preview and practice run before the official rollout. Only schools signing on for the pilot will have access to the new instruments prior to the official rollout.
