Description
Whether you’re local or new to Sacramento, this fun challenge will give your team a chance to explore hidden gems, discover new places, and learn fascinating facts about the capital of California and the heart of Gold Country. Join us for a quest to test your problem-solving skills, quick thinking, and teamwork. Please note: This is a walking activity.
When and Where
- 📅 Start/End Time: June 24 | 5:30–7:30 PM
- 📛 Access: Wear your AVID Name Badge for check-in upon arrival
- 📍 Location: Sacramento Center, Ballroom A1
- Pre-steps:
- This is a walking activity; please wear comfortable shoes.
- Bring a water bottle.
- If there is a chance of rain, bring an umbrella.
- You may form teams of two to six prior to the event, or we can assist you in finding a team on-site.
- If you form a team in advance, choose a team name and a group leader. All other team members should join the same team during the setup process.
- Download the Goosechase app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. (Search for "Goosechase.")
- The activity join code will be shared on the evening of the event.
Description
Whether you work with high school students contemplating their next big step or with younger students exploring their future options, this College Fair by Career Council Inc. is your opportunity to ask questions of colleges and universities across the West Coast, establish relationships with them and other educators, and walk away with tools and recommendations around postsecondary options for your students. This experience is made just for you.

Join us for an exciting night at Punch Bowl Social Sacramento, right next to the Kings’ Golden 1 Center! Fun is waiting for you and your team, featuring bowling lanes, giant Scrabble, billiards, giant Jenga, and a hosted taco spread. Come hang out, network with fellow educators, and enjoy a memorable evening.
