Are you ready for an adventure like no other? We invite you to join us for Magic Quest, an exhilarating scavenger hunt in the heart of Downtown Disney in Anaheim. This isn’t just a walk in the park; it’s a thrilling journey filled with clues, challenges, and a whole lot of Disney magic! Whether you’re competing for the fastest time or simply enjoying the journey, Magic Quest promises to be a fun, engaging, and truly magical experience with the opportunity to network with other educators!

When and Where

• 📅 Start/End Time: July 16 | 5:30–7:30 PM
• 📛 Access: Wear your AVID Name Badge for check-in upon arrival
• 📍 Location: Hilton, California Ballroom C
• Pre-steps: 
  • This is a walking activity; please wear comfortable shoes. 
  • Bring a water bottle. 
  • After kick off at the Hilton Anaheim, teams will navigate this adventure at Downtown Disney, using the Goosechase app. All participants must go through Disney security.
  • If there is a chance of rain, bring an umbrella. 
  • You may form teams of two to six prior to the event, or we can assist you in finding a team on-site.
    • If you form a team in advance, choose a team name and a group leader. All other team members should join the same team during the setup process.
  • Download the Goosechase app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. (Search for "Goosechase.")
    • The activity join code will be shared on the evening of the event.
  • Transportation is not provided for this activity.
    • Transportation options:
      • 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride.
      • Ride shares are encouraged for getting to Downtown Disney if walking is not preferred. However, if you prefer to drive a personal vehicle, the Downtown Disney parking lot is at the Simba Lot, with the entrance off Disneyland Drive, right past the entrance to the Pixar Pals Hotel. The first hour of parking is a flat $10 fee per car, with up to 3 hours additional parking with a $20 minimum purchase at any Downtown Disney location, or up to 5 hours with validation from a table-serve restaurant.

Join us at Splitsville at Downtown Disney for our Magic Bowling and Game Night. This event is not just a gathering but an opportunity to explore the fun of Downtown Disney, engage in meaningful conversations, and build new connections with fellow AVID educators. This event combines bowling, billiards, shuffleboard, and darts with great fellowship. Come enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, delicious bites, and magical Disney vibes.

• 📛 Access: Wear your AVID Name Badge for check-in upon arrival
• 📍 Location: Splitsville Luxury Lanes, Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort
  
  • 1530 S Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802 
• Pre-steps:
  • Bring a pair of socks. 
  • Check-in upon entry will be 30 minutes prior to the event start time, to allow everyone time to go through Disney security.
    
    • This is when you can get your shoes and find our area.
  • Teams of eight can bowl on a single lane. We can combine groups to form groups of eight on-site.
  • Transportation is not provided for this activity.  
    • Transportation options: 
      • 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride 
      • Ride shares are encouraged for getting to Downtown Disney if walking is not preferred. However, if you prefer to drive a personal vehicle, the Downtown Disney parking lot is at the Simba Lot, with the entrance off Disneyland Drive, right past the entrance to the Pixar Pals Hotel. You’ll also get to tap into your creativity with our Mickey/Minnie Ear-Making session, which includes an opportunity to connect with fellow educators. Design your own special pair of iconic Mickey or Minnie ears, ensuring you leave with a magical memento of your Disney fandom.

Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or a beginner looking for a gentle introduction, this Meditation Hour promises to provide a soothing and enriching experience with time to network once you are all relaxed.
