Showcase your students' creativity by designing the next AVID T-shirt!
AVID’s national T-shirt contest has officially kicked off! This year, for the first time, AVID’s CEO Student Advisory from Westminster High School in Westminster, California, will coordinate the contest. This group of senior AVID Elective students has been working hard to make this a fun and meaningful opportunity for fellow AVID classes to engage with each other across the country. Let's support our students!
Enter your classroom's original T-shirt design in our contest and share your pride in their talents. You can:

The Prizes
- First Place Will Receive:
- A $500 prize for the classroom and a dedicated Instagram post.
- Free shirts for the winning class.
- Second Place Will Receive:
- A $300 prize for the classroom and a dedicated Instagram post.
- Third Place Will Receive:
- A $100 prize for the classroom and a dedicated Instagram post.
AVID Center will feature the first-place winner and make their shirt available for purchase nationwide at AVID Summer Institutes and on MyAVIDStore.
Application Timeline
The deadline for design submissions is March 28.
Requirements
- One entry per class.
- The art must be original—no use of copyrighted images or trademarked phrases.
- The design must incorporate the AVID logo (available for download under Design Resources).
- The entry must be submitted by an AVID teacher.
Design Parameters
- Screen-printed on colorful T-shirts
- Design placement on the T-shirt is the center of the chest
- Maximum size: 12" x 12"
- Maximum of four colors
- Preferred file formats: high-resolution PNG, EPS, AI, SVG, or PDF (hand-drawn images are also accepted)
- Design must be suitable for both students and educators

Selection Process and Disclaimer
AVID AVID’s CEO Student Advisory will select three finalists based on the following criteria:- The design is positive, celebrates AVID, and inspires our community
- The design meets the requirements and parameters
- The image is aesthetically pleasing on a T-shirt
The winners will be announced and celebrated in April via social media.
