SESSION 1: College and Career Readiness Framework | 9:00–10:30 a.m. ET

In this session, we will explore foundational components that comprise the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework. Participants will engage in critical conversations about how this framework can be used to inform shifts in beliefs, approaches, and practices that impact student achievement and close opportunity gaps.
*Stay for an optional AVID Overview from 10:35–10:55 a.m. ET to learn more about AVID National Conference and other professional learning opportunities.

SESSION 2: Increasing Rigor and Improving Student Outcomes | 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET

This session will help participants address opportunity and expectation gaps. We will examine the why, how, and what, including practices like delivery, scaffolding, student engagement, increasing rigor, and relationship building. Participants will reflect on their practices, learn new ones, and ask the question, "Does all mean all?" when it comes to meeting the needs of all learners in their classrooms.
